The legal bills presented by Savarese involved matters pertaining to Deangelis!
You read it right, folks. Deangelis is burning up the town's money and patience by being the subject of frequent legal meetings and discussions. In addition, if you read those bills closely, you'll see that he is also wasting the time of Claudia Tata (Selectman's Office Administrator) and Edith Salisbury (Town Clerk). We are talking of many hours per month of harassment. Look at those bills!
Exactly how much "truth" has he exposed with all those FOI's and private meetings?
Nothing! Nada!

Did you look at the bills? Pattie is so proud of himself that he checked off the ones where his name is mentioned. Each of those entries had a .20 or .30 hours associated with it. And there were many of them. They were free?
Savarese is on a monthly retainer. Everybody knows that. What is that amount? Did Pattie cause more to be billed?
C'mon now. Out with it! You want answers? You want Truth? You can't handle the truth!
How much did "tree man" Jim Smith bill Middlebury when he was Town Attorney? What about Dana D'Angelo? She had a piece of the St. John pie too.
Tommy doesn't need somebody harassing him continuously on the job. Tommy is a lily white "Mr. Clean" boy scout and everybody knows it. Tommy is not screwing Middlebury.
Pattie is screwing Middlebury. Eddie is behind the scenes, pulling the strings on puppet Deangelis.

I wrote a letter to Father Barry asking him to look at www.ourmoneypit.com. Maybe that will help, since Pattie professes himself as a Catholic with this gem "you don't have to be Catholic to go to heaven, but it don't hurt."
My advice to the father is to tell Pattie that he should switch to watching porn instead of running OMP. "I'd rather you jerk yourself off and not be jerking off all of Middlebury. It's OK to sit in front of your computer and do that. You have a special dispensation.".

Wouldn't Savarese's hours be better spent working on Straw Pond, or Oxford Airport, or Washington Drive, or the Region 15 inequity?

Can you imagine coming into a new job as First Selectman and being snipped at and FOI'd from day one by the town idiot and by the former First Selectman?
Can you imagine being relentlessly criticized by these same people during your first year in office? Can you imagine reading distortions about everything you do, with no help at all from your former friends?

A few months ago Pattie told Middlebury to get out the K-Y jelly because Gormley and Dayton were "sticking it" to Middlebury.
Now we know that Pattie gave good shopping advice. Yes, go ahead and stock up on K-Y jelly, Middlebury. Lots of it. But it won't be anyone in elected positions doing it to you. Nope. It will be coming from the town idiot and the doctor. They'll do for you what they did to Tommy.
