so what are they "chipping in"?...
According to the email accounts provided to OMP by people who
were at the meeting at the fire house meeting on Monday night
Half Chief Perrotti was very agitated about the ridiculously high
cell phone bill and stated that the officers would have to help pay
for the cell phone bills because not all the calls are HIS.
Well, first of all, according to the IRS filing we thought that
Perrotti said that officers DON'T get paid so why are they
"chipping" in. And secondly, take a good look at who is making 90
percent of the calls.”
An absolute lie. Nothing of the sort occurred. Mr. DeAngelis should get his facts straight, but he continues to post attacks against the MVFD and its Chief that are completely untrue. He also keeps alluding that there is something wrong with the MVFD IRS tax return, prepared by Lenkowski, Lonergan, and Co. The MVFD pays this firm to prepare the tax return and to audit the MVFD books each year.
As stated in yesterday’s post; each MVFD cell phone gets a set number of minutes. If an officer goes over his alloted minutes, he is required to pay for the overage out of his own pocket. He is not paying for anyone else’s phone. That has been the policy since the cell phones were first put into use by the MVFD. No one is “chipping in” anything.

Not just lies, hypocrisy.
In fact Deangelis is so 'off the chain' today that he has broken new records for distortion, lying, insults, and hypocrisy.
Please Mr. Time Machine, save a copy of Pattie's latest rantings because it is gonna come back to haunt him big time some day. Pattie names many of his co-conspirator zombies. That's a first for him. Some of those named zombies attend MRTC meetings and snicker at smart-ass remarks aimed at Gormley while kissing Eddie's ass.
Conscience of Middlebury?
Hardly. More of a hemorrhoid on Middlebury, I'd say.
Pat doesn't have the balls to show up to an MVFD Meeting. If he does at least we can have a debate. Lets be serious he hasn't shown up to any meeting.
What Pattie does is stir up people with low IQ's and low self esteems to do his bidding for him. These people cannot function in the real world of Middlebury so they live in a "second life" in Deangelis's bizarro world, serving as his zombies.
One wonders about the dinner conversations that these losers must have -- assuming they have dinners with other humans. "I spied on the fire department today". "I stole a campaign sign". "I secretly recorded a meeting for Pat Deangelis".
Losers.
Worse, smug losers.
That all right. I will actually welcome them to our meeting. I want to see what they have to say. Patty wants to make it look like he has big balls. He has none because he is always the first one to run and tell the school ground aides. Come on its time to stop being a pussy and hiding. Put your money where your mouth is.

according to Pattie, Polly Wilson and Laurie Mattson are innocent little lambs who did absolutely nothing wrong.
Does that mean that sign stealing is not really stealing? Is sign stealing something that everyone should be doing? That is the natural extension of what Pattie is saying. If it is OK for Polly Wilson and Laurie Mattson to steal a few signs then it is OK for anyone to steal as many signs as they want, right?
That must mean that someone from the Democratic Party can go around and take all the Republican signs as soon as they are put up.

If Deangelis and his cronies can come over for breakfast and sit out on the ole porch and say "half chief" and "dumb ass" ... then ya just gotta wonder how things are going in the family. I'm just saying.
Deangelis has been scratching that boil for a while now. Back in 2007 he directed his loyal followers to go to the "Bill and Jen" New Years party instead of the MVFD New Years party.

Before you start putting last names to Pat's crew you should probably think about it. I am a friend of Mr. Perrotti and I hardly think that he is on Pat's list. I think that if I had to pick a Bill it may be Stowell. I mean look at the list.DUH.
Obviously, you have no idea what you are typing.
The problem is not with Pat, the problem is here. See the light the only people that Pat is getting to is you that type here. STOP reading his web site. He will go away. Your posts are the very thing that make him go on. IGNORE HIM he will go away. I am not against anyone who reads or posts here. I feel the same way most of you do. Think about it, just an observation.
Let's keep in mind that many people are all too happy to have Pattie do the dirty work by creating distorted news and opinions. He is getting support from some well known people who want to keep that support hidden. Laurie and Kelli are forever tarnished by that association. I think it would be great if more of Pattie's supporters were revealed.
It would be one thing if Pattie was actually a fair critic of bad doings in Middlebury. But that is not the case. Pattie is doing things on the web that he could never do in public. Those interested in a so-called "public career" would be wise to clearly distance themselves from him.
Let's get back to the girls for a minute. Before somebody gets the idea that they did not steal the campaign signs.
First of all, Deangelis never said that they didn't steal the signs. Instead he maintained that it was too petty to bother about.
Second, Laurie Mattson pleaded nolo contendere to the charge instead of not guilty. There may be many reasons for a person to plead nolo contendere, but if I wished to be deemed innocent I would have pleaded not guilty.
Third, we know that Polly said that she was in Naugatuck at the time of the big crime. Did she say that in court or did she say that to reporter Matt O'Rourke?
It will be interesting to know whether all that "harassment" by the Middlebury police will result in a big lawsuit.
Some of us can live long lives without getting involved with the police, and then there's 65 year old Polly Wilson who said she has spoken to a lawyer and plans to file a lawsuit against the town for harassment in the case, as well as several other complaints she has filed with Middlebury police.
Yeah. That will help Middlebury.
Go get 'em Polly. Another sip of kool-aid for you.
The "elephant in the room" at this week's Republican Town Committee meeting was Pat Deangelis. Nobody mentioned him by name, only by innuendo.
In a discussion between Tom Gormley and members of the committee, several people spoke up about being hesitant to send resumes or any biographical information to the Selectman's office because they would likely be leaked or FOI'd to "that web site" and picked apart and criticized.
There was no disagreement that the First Selectman had a responsibility to know the credentials of appointees. The discussion had to do with good candidates being unwilling to have their personal information in the hands of Deangelis. Without mentioning his name, every person in the room knew what Deangelis might do to any bio or resume he could post on his web site.
I just wanted to mention this so that Jim Redway would be encouraged to keep this blog going.
This blog is the true conscience of Middlebury. The people who leak information to Deangelis are hypocrites. They want Deangelis to do the dirty work while they remain "clean". This blog can expose these hypocrites. They created the beast and they need to be held accountable for the destruction that it is causing.
What destruction? Go back and re-read what I wrote above. Even the Middlebury Republican Town Committee acknowledges that Deangelis is preventing good citizens from participating in voluntary Middlebury government.
This is EXACTLY the opposite of what Deangelis is claiming. Deangelis pontificates that he is helping Middlebury, but the fact is that he is harming Middlebury and adding to the bitterness and corruption.
Go argue that.
An Insidious Cancer is Spreading
The only people who will feel comfortable submitting resumes and bio’s will be those who have sold out to Deangelis.
That list includes Laurie, Kelli, Ken, Eddie, Polly, Elaine, and more.
That’s why it is necessary for this blog to name names.

For one thing, the Republican-American is promoting him regularly, giving him unearned limelight.
For another thing, there seems to be no lack of spineless dishonorable cowards who will use Deangelis to get what they want.
You can spot these spineless dishonorable cowards by their smirking at town meetings.
Do you really want such people in leadership positions in Middlebury?
