“PETITIONING SLATE ANNOUNCED-GOD HELP MIDDLEBURY IF THIS GROUP SOMEHOW LOSES TO THE BRENNAN TICKET”
Brennan Ticket? The Brennan Ticket seems to me that was the ticket of Fran Brennan and Carol Cipriano. I believe that ticket was dissolved after the Primary last Fall when the “Brennan Ticket” lost the Primary. What happen after that?
Mr. Brennan took the lost like a man, and refused to run as a third party candidate. He told his supporters and everyone else, he felt comfortable in a Republican suit. What did he do then? He threw his support behind Tom Gormley, whom he supports to this day.
So what you are saying is that the Brennan Ticket is really the Gormley Ticket, because as the residents in Town will see very soon, those people who were elected by the Republican Caucus are indeed behind Tom Gormley.
Mr. Brennan is just one name on the entire list. Why not call it the Kasidas Ticket, or the Clark Ticket? It is apparent that you have some deep-seated hatred for Mr. Brennan. Frankly, that is your problem, and not the problem of the rest of the Republicans in Town.
It would appear that the “Poster Child” of the Petitioning Republicans, will be none other than Pat DeAngelis. So should this be considered the DeAngelis slate.?

Again, I find it endlessly entertaining that Pat and apparently his friend Kelli B. have thrown themselves in with the VERY same group who they could not abide running the town just 2 1/2 years ago. What I think will be the most entertaining part of the whole thing is how quickly Kelli & Pat will be thrown to the curb when those newfound friends are done using them for their own agendas. Can a leopard really change his spots?? Pat, stop for two minutes, think about what you are doing. You, the self-proclaimed "Protector of the Taxpayer", going after the town department with the smallest overall budget. Spewing out rhetoric which is not based by factual research. For example, your inane statement that outsourcing the ambulance is cheaper........WRONG!!!!!! Just ask Prospect,Cheshire, Torrington, etc. All those towns pay Campion Ambulance between 80,000 and 150,000 merely for the privilege of allowing Campion Ambulance to respond in their towns. Campion Ambulance then bills the individual patient, using the state fee schedule. Pat, tell me how this is cheaper than what we pay in Middlebury. At least in Middlebury, the FD doesn't retain the services of a collection agency and attornies for when you don't pay up, like Campion and AMR do. The ambulance is not a money-making operation in Middlebury, contrary to your idiotic rantings. Tom Gormley is going to have enough trouble straightening out the mess left by your new friends without all the nonsense from you. Grow up, and get a life!!! Do something productive, like volunteer to help out at the library.........
Talk about strange bedfellows from hell...
Ed St. John, Kelli Bollard, Pat DeAngelis, Jim Smith, Bill Stowell!
Each of these people has an enemies list a mile long -- and they are on each other's list!
This is really going to be an interesting year!
Pat DeAngelis continues to show that he is the "village idiot". When he lists the so-called Brennan Ticket he calls Julie Clark a guy and he does not know who Rich Nicol is.
If anyone in town is an ignoramus it is Pat DeAngelis. He somehow feels that his opinion is worth listening to while at the same time proving beyond dispute that he knows absolutely nothing about the MRTC or any of Middlebury's past leadership.
Would someone muzzle this guy!
