“Here's a letter we received from a former Middlebury
fireman now living in the southwest:
I've always said that the Middlebury FD had too many trucks. Even
when I belonged there for my 17 years. They should sell that ladder
truck and two of the engines that they NEVER use and then they will
be able to buy a new one. I understand firefighters need up to date
equipment, but not when you never use it. They have the same
amount of equipment as in _________ (where I am a Captain now)
but we run about 300 calls a month as compared to Mdby's 80? a
month. So why do they still have so many trucks? “
This is another fake letter from one of Mr. DeAngelis’s imaginary friends. The language illustrates that this person is not a real firefighter, was never a firefighter in Middlebury, and has absolutely no understanding of firefighting. Its not worth wasting pixels discussing it any further.

Lies, lies and more lies!!!! We know that eddie boy will try to do anything to see Paul fall hard, but guess what ..... it will not happen, we are one step ahead of you!!!!!!! Edddie is only using pattie, and when he's done with him, well we know what will happen then!!!!! So guess what pattie boy you can say or do what ever you want about Paul, when the shit hits the fan it will hit hard!!!! I will be laughing harder than I am now!!!!!!

If it was an actual firefighter, he would call the vehicles "apparatus" not "trucks". Trucks are only pieces of firefighting equipment which generally do not have a pump, such as the aerial (not ladder truck), the rescue, and any other support vehicles. Those pieces of apparatus that are used for active fire suppression (ie the engines which have pumps), are referred to as engines. It is a cardinal mistake in the firefighting profession to refer to all apparatus as "trucks" and no firefighter, firefighter's wife, firefighter's mother, or even firefighter's dog would make that mistake. The idea that a 17 year veteran and captain would is a joke entirely.
Furthermore, just to really rock Mr. DeAngelis's world - I am a firefighter that attended college where I majored in Criminal Justice. One of my concentrations was forensic psychology, and an element of that is studying samples of writing to determine whether or not they were written by the same individual. While it is a lot easier to examine handwriting, it can still be done on typed letters. The sentence structure of this "letter" clearly indicates that it was written by the same individual who wrote the majority of the posts on OMP. Now either Mr. DeAngelis's friend from the southwest is writing his blog, or it was written by Mr. DeAngelis.
My friends, I am not out to be mean to Mr. DeAngelis and I really don't want to hurt his feelings by damaging his perception of firefighters as illiterate, degenerate ruffians who grunt and speak in monotones by not including this in my finely prosed post:

Pattie must have been to busy writing letters last night to go to the town meeting. Didnt see him there even though he promised to rent a bus and show up with all his supporters.
The bus was just one of Pattie's jokes. He never intended for any of his lemmings to attend that meeting. The purpose of the referendum was to vote NO, not learn anything.
Next time Gormley should reword the propositions so that NO means YES.

Some of the zombies might be so conditioned to vote NO that they would do it out of habit.

The town stated last night that they have over 3/4 of the money in the apparatus replacement fund to replace engine 2. Also that the other 1/4 wouldnt hurt the tax payers of Middlebury. Why isn't the engine order yet? Where's the problem?
If the good Dr. and Pat would stop stiring the pot for personal political gains this town would be alot safer for all.
Last time around Cookson needed to print up signs and Gormley went on television to promote the fourth budget referendum.
The opposition will be out in full force this time with many hundreds of NO votes. It will be harder to get enough YES votes to stop them.
Sounds like it will take the combined forces of the MVFD, DTC, and Gormley and Cookson. I assume that the MRTC will do everything in its power to screw Tommy.

Thank you for this blog. I attended the meeting last night. The people all around me were angry. They seemed like nice people but they were definitely looking for a reason to vote no not yes. It will be very hard to change minds that are already made up.
In addition to the forensic work that I mentioned I had already completed, let me clue you in as to my own personal investigation. With the help of some law students and professors, we are launching our own personal investigation, like Mr. DeAngelis is so talented at on OMP. However, our investigation is into allegations of digital copyright infringement pertaining to the images that Mr. DeAngelis steals for use on his site. Without the owner of the image's expressed permission - DeAngelis is no better than Mattson or Polly. More to follow.

What pisses me off is that he is intentionally getting a lot of people misdirected and hurting Middlebury in the end.
If that asshole used the same amount of energy to do good then some day he might be worthy to lick Paul Perrotti's boots.
