A Complaint Of Errors

Well, I can certainly understand why the writer of this SEEC complaint against the MVFD did not want anyone to see their name. Will you look at the amount of errors in these three small paragraphs?  I can understand a few typos and grammatical mistakes.  I make a bunch myself, but there is spell check for heaven’s sake.

There was nothing the matter with the MVFD handing out information that informs the voters of what they were voting for.  This is important information and directly addresses firefighter and public safety. It counters the negative and incorrect information that has been released by Mr. DeAngelis on his website and in letters to the Editor.

No MVFD INC. funds were used.  No taxpayer funds were used. I wrote the 3-fold brochure and one of Middlebury’s most loyal and dedicated firefighters printed them out on his personal laser printer.

The hot dogs, which by the way were expertly cooked, were purchased from funds donated by our brother firefighters out of their own pockets.

Firefighters did not approach voters before going into the polls, but rather offered them a free hot dog after they had already voted. After just going through a National Election, and all the problems that are associated with that around the State, I can see the SEEC dropping everything to investigate this. Loose-cannon firefighters, madly wielding hot dogs, duping the public into replacing a 27 year old pumper.

Get your focus back on the MRTC, not Deangelis. Deangelis is still a puppet. The danger lurks with St. John and his cronies as well as Bollard and her cronies, and the opportunists.

By the way, I agree with another poster that "they" do not like to see their name in this blog. I have a great idea right out of the Deangelis playbook. This blog will list the names of all the MRTC members and "rate" them. We'll add the names of other clowns not on the MRTC such as Mattson. I'll work on that list tonight. It is one of Pattie's nasty tricks that can be used against him.

Enjoy your weekend.

Readers should check out other recent threads on this blog which focus more on the MRTC and less on Deangelis.

For your consideration I will list the members of the Nominating Committee of the MRTC. These fine people completely control the Republican appointments to Middlebury's boards and committees.

1. Paul Bowler
2. Jim Crocicchia
2. Jim Smith
4. Geoff Stowell (chairman)
5. George Tzepos

You've got to be thinking that this is a sick joke, no?.. The so-called "nominating committee" is how St. John picked off Carpinella from the police commission back in 2005. This year it will be a shooting gallery of Eddie's enemies and these guys all have pop guns. Watch out as the "Row A" people are replaced one by one with Eddie's puppets.

Am I wrong?

Today it's hot dogs, tomorrow kielbasa. These guys must be stopped...

Anonymous said...

so lets have all members of the mfvd on the nominating committee ?
thats what you want ?

No. Let's bring in actual kangaroos, so long as it's going to be a kangaroo court - you idiot.

Nobody is trying to stack the MRTC with MVFD. We're trying to purge the Eddie St. John evil which still is controlling. Look at the nominating committee list. Three diehard St. John soldiers and two easily swayable flunkies. It doesn't take a genius to see what will be happening.

New blood is definitely needed. A few MVFD members would be refreshing.

Isn't that interesting 3 lawyers on the MRTC nominating committee! That's a great representation of the over 2000 registered members of the Middlebury Republician Party. Wake up Middlebury Republicians and smell the coffee!

Anonymous said...

They're asleep. I don't know what it will take to wake them up. And when they do wake up they're likely to blame Gormley!

I like the idea of a taxpayer's alliance. But it cannot be a "VOTE NO" alliance like the Oakville idiots have done. And it can't be the White Avenue zombies. It needs to be thoughtful enough to propose useful ideas and be willing to serve on the Finance Board and School Board.

All we have today is Eddie's revenge squad and Pattie's kool-aid lemmings. This from a supposed upper middle-class community? We should be able to do better!

Anonymous said...

lets be honest. First of all the white ave section of town is by no means upper class. You have a librarian who is living off of a goverment pension. Thats not white colar.I would say its blue colar but thats even too much to say for old pattie boy. Ill just call him white trash because thats what he is.

Thank god the true Middlebury came out and voted for the referendum. Im glad to see people actually care.

I don't think we need MVFD people in the MRTC. We just need people that want this community to succeed. There are a bunch of people in there now that just want to tear it apart.

Thats Wrong

I would perfer to see a concerned citizens for the sake of Middlebury alliance rather than just a taxpayer's alliance. There are many issues involving good government in addition to tax matters. The MTRC under the leadership of Bob Smith (behind the scenes Jim Smith and Dr. StJohn) just don't get it. The Middlebury Republican Town Committee needs a badly needed house cleaning. The last fund raiser they held at the Waterbury Country Club was attended by less than 40 people. This annual event has had between 100-200 attendees in past years. The Party is bleeding and needs immediate medical attention1!

The last thing we need is another self-righteous, phoney baloney taxpayer alliance. We already have the tools needed for change. Don't be afraid to use them.
In a town meeting form of government, such as ours, the people act as the legislative body. According to the town charter, we the people have the right to vote at town meetings. The only problem with this is that the 'dirty' collar petitioners want to take your rights away every time the town wants to buy a stick of gum.
If you don't like the way things are going, do something about it. Say something, out loud, in public! There is a Selectman's meeting tonight at 6 p.m. and a Public Works meeting at 7 p.m. You don't even have to stay for the whole thing. Just show up and let them know you are out there. The MRTC will hve thier moles there. Don't let the rats have all the cheese...

They didn't invite me and I'm a Republican and I serve on one of the most visible town boards. I've always attended in the past.

I would not have accepted the invitation this year because they failed to support Tom Gormley as they promised. You are correct when you say that a house cleaning is needed. Not only a house cleaning, a fumigation to get rid of the vermin. Can you imagine the tone of the fund raiser with all those warring factions at different tables? I'd fully expect a fight to break out. There are no leaders among that bunch and that is a real shame for Middlebury.

As promised. I've listed the names of people who are on the MRTC and also people in italics who I think want to be on the committee very badly. Let me know if I'm right on this.

Fran Brennan was quoted as saying that friendships last only as long as the next election. He may be a supporter of Gormley today, but Gormley should watch his back tomorrow.

This is slightly off topic but I'd like to suggest that Tom Gormley take the training wheels off and get rid of Steve Savarese. Maybe Tom needed Steve in the first few months as he was navigating through the land mines and banana peels left by Eddie, but Steve is a liability now and is hurting Tom's image. Tom always looked good at the Conservation Commission meetings, so he definitely knows how to behave on stage.

At the very least Tom should muzzle Steve and speak for himself at meetings and press briefings. Jim Smith never spoke for Eddie in public as far as I can remember. If Steve sticks around then he needs to do the same.

Does anybody know about all the FOI's that have been filed by Eddie against Gormley? I've heard that there are a lot of them. What is that all about? Whose time is being wasted responding to them?

Time equals money. Your money...

I'd like to comment on the list by "republican" above.

Kelli Bollard could pull together a coalition of Campaign 2005 supporters if she wanted to. Her "Row C" ticket included Terry Manning, Mike McDonald and Jordano Santos. Those are all on the MRTC now. I think she could pull Joe Bernardi and Ray Rivard over to her side as well. From the wildcards I think she has alternate Crosby Middlemass on her side. That gives her 7 people in her camp and that could help her argue against the 11 member St. John revenge squad.

Just my thoughts.

Whoa, easy on the cough suryp! Kelli Ann is the Queen of Row B. She's tainted by the stain of a certain gadfly. Mike will do or say anything to get elected. Terry is out in left field. Jordano is a wild card. Crosby is an alternate. As far as the other two, one can't spell Republican and the other thinks he's going to the Senior Center for a free meal. That's a great ticket you got there. No wonder your campaign soiled the bed in '05.
Stick with Tom, give Elaine the boot, and let the crows pick the flesh off the Doctor...

Thank you Mr. Anonymous for your comments on the Kelli ticket. I remember seeing Ray Rivard on cable TV when Fran challenged the MRTC. Un-bleeping-believable! The guy was rambling and incoherent, mad as hell at Brennan, but unable to say anything except that Brennan had somehow cheated. I wish I had taped this as an example of the "quality" of Row-B. What an ass.

Getting back to Tom. Let's not forget that the St. John loyalists will not support a second Gormley term. It just won't happen. They will undoubtedly put up crony Bill Stowell and someone else (not Elaine). The St. John loyalists are probably getting a bit nervous lately because Gormley is finally getting some points up on the board. Deangelis is screaming louder than ever but nothing is sticking because St. John is going to court for his Washington Drive malfeasance and all other ongoing litigation is carryover from St. John/Strobel, not anything that Tommy has done.

The question remains - how do we keep a St. John crony like Stowell from getting to be First Selectman in 2009? Can Tommy run as a third party candidate? Is Middlebury doomed?

Anonymous said...

I bet Pattie will be squealing like a stuck pig if Tommy has the cajones to indict Eddie over the Washington Drive matter.

Things have been quiet. Almost too quiet. Something evil must be happening behind closed doors.

Anonymous said...

They haven't been meeting at the Calabrese offices on Quassapaug Road lately. I drive by there every evening and know what to look for. There must be another base of operations for the St. John/Stowell campaign.

Anonymous said...

Rest assured, those cats are up to no good. It's what they do. My guess is that they are licking thier wounds and re-tooling thier operation after they got waxed at the polls...

ohhh, i guess perriotti is done with this blog i.e politics.
Biggest complaint against him in the fd elections.

Anonymous said...

Yes, Mr. Anonymous.

There is no reason for you to look at this blog any more since it steered itself toward the MRTC shenanigans and St. John's vengeance and Pattie's lies.

Go back to your porn.

Remember the rules; No getting drunk and posting. What exactly does 'biggest complaint against him in the fd elections' mean?

Anonymous said...

I'd like to comment on the kool-aid clans latest posting about the physical fitness of the Mvfd. There are many different roles on the fire scene, and back home in the stations. If that many of his relatives were really fire fighters he would know that. Also, to reassure his fat ass, I've passed not only the Volunteers physical but also the state CPAT physical 3 years in a row.

People on White Avenue refer to it as "phat ass". Eddie can give you additional detail about that term.
