Wrong About The Westover Fund

" Threw the Westover "donation" which is really money in lieu of

taxes into the General Fund where it always belonged anyway. "

Wrong again.  The gift from Westover is not money in lieu of taxes.  Westover, once again, is a school, and not subject to taxes.  Westover targets their GIFT to certain agencies in Town.  That includes the Library. It does not belong in the “General Fund.”

The BOF confiscated this money from these groups , and it is our guess, that Westover will not be very happy about their gift being taken out of the hands it was intended for and placed in the General Fund.

Perhaps it is time for the Town to return the money to Westover so they can distribute their gift the way they intended it to be distributed.
